How do I upload HTML pages to my web site?
Alright, you've got the webpages made and you're ready to move them
to the server. In order to transfer files to your web space from your
machine, you need FTP client software. All this software does is connect
your machine to the web server so you can move files from one machine to
the other. Of course, login information is required and should have been
included with your hosting registration.
Several different flavors of FTP software are available on the internet,
some free, and some you have to pay for.

Important tips...
Everything is case sensitive!!! (On our Linux Servers that is)
Transfer HTML, CGI, PHP and all other text files in ASCII mode.
Transfer Images, Java and any other compiled code in Binary.
Keep backup copies of everything!!! Just in case you overwrite something you shouldn't have.
Do not put spaces in your file names.
Avoid using extremely long file names.
